In my opinion, the best option for presenting a claim before an Administrative Law Judge is to be there in person with your attorney. The Office of Hearings Operations (OHO) has not held an In Person hearing in over 11 months! There is no information available as to when In Person hearings will resume.
The OHO is presently training staff to conduct Video Hearings. This will allow claimants to stay at home but can see and talk directly to the Judge who will decide their case.
The least preferable option currently being offered by the OHO is a hearing via telephone.
If you have a hearing scheduled and would like to discuss your options and case with an experienced attorney, send a message or telephone the office now.
